ABOUT ME

They say cooking soothes the soul and I would have to agree. The intoxicating aromas stimulate my senses, while the feel of  the  flour between my fingers and the swirling sound of the blender quiets my mind and helps me focus on the task at hand.

My creativity comes alive when I am cooking and the immediate gratification of seeing my creations come to life right before  my eyes gives me a great sense of pride, which is why I decided to pursue my passion at the Culinary Institute of America.

Growing up in an Italian family in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn, I learned relatively quick that “food was life” the vehicle through  which we communicated our sentiments and played an integral part of every occasion.

My cooking and baking represents where I grew up and the things and people who have inspired me through the years. The  best part of cooking is sharing my creations and making people happy!
